Hello everybody!
In today's post we are going to speak about a Dim Sum very famous in Hong Kong. This place is famous for people living here and some tourists. Why that? You are going to see this in the photos and the description of the place.
The name of the restaurant is "Lin Heung Tea House" which is situated on Wellington Street: 號, 162 Wellington St, Sheung Wan.
I had a lot of occasions to pass in front of the restaurant but I've never been inside until yesterday. In fact, colleges of mine suggested us to go here.
This is a local place, I saw 80% of local people and the rest was foreigners. As you can see on the picture, this place doesn't have fancy decorations or anything. Is very simple. When you come in the restaurant you have to walk some stairs and them you arrived on big room where everybody eat. Before the stairs, you can see fishes and other seafoods which are going to be in your plate some minutes after (bonne appétit!).
Anyway, as vegetarian, dim sum is not the perfect thing for me! However, I've found some plates vegetarians as vegetables (broccoli) and noodles (with some mushrooms). This was very good even if it was simple!
If you want to taste Chinese food you should go to this place because they have for example chicken foots! And here you don't have water but tea instead (black and jasmin one).
I give you a last tip about this place is to have someone who speaks cantonese because people who work in this restaurant don't have a good English.
