Hey everybody!

Today I am going to speak about Big Buddha on Lantau island.

This place is magical. When go here you can completely see that you are in China. You can see the Big Buddha and also Po Lin Monastery which is very colorful.

Tian Tan Buddha, also known as the Big Buddha, is a large bronze statue of Buddha Shakyamuni, completed in 1993, and located at Ngong Ping, Lantau Island, in Hong Kong. The statue is sited near Po Lin Monastery and symbolises the harmonious relationship between man and nature, people and faith. It is a major centre of Buddhism in Hong Kong, and is also a popular tourist attraction

It's not complicated to go to Big Buddha the only thing is that you are going to wait for maybe one hour when you want to take the car's cable. You take the MTR from Central to Tung Chun (end of the orange line) then the car's cable or bus.

The only bad thing about Big Buddha is that it's very touristic. Too many shops around the place which is suppose to be sacred.
